Our Next Travel Destinations…

Today, I suddenly realised that I have as little as FIVE weeks left in Sydney. Yep- once again, I am packing up my life and relocating elsewhere. If you haven’t been following along for the ride, in 2014 I quit my job to travel, relocated to London and became a Notting Hill Nanny. In late 2015, I returned back to Sydney, after a trip up to Noosa, Gold Coast, Brissy and then down to Adelaide, South Australia.

2016 has been just as delightful, minus the copious amounts of travel (okay, I did sneak in a work trip to London and Switzerland #firsttimebusinessclass + a mini getaway to Bali) I returned to my old job and settled into the comfort of a daily routine. Jay and I focused on our passion for photography, saved a little money, took off on several weekends away and explored the many delightful spots that Sydney has to offer ( see herehere and here)

Sneaky Switzerland Trip

Now 2016 is coming to a very sudden stop and we are all falling speedily towards the new year. How did that happen?

With many changes on the horizon, I thought now was a good time to share our next travel destinations.

Where are we travelling to next?

As mentioned, in five weeks we will be packing up our bags and leaving Sydney (tear). We have decided to spend 20days(from Dec 23rd) driving between Sydney-Brisbane, exploring different destinations along the way. Here is a few of the spots we are thinking of making a stop:

– Nelson’s Bay
– Booti Booti National Park
– Seal rocks
-Forster
– Port Macquarie
-Coffs Harbour
– Lennox Head
-Byron Bay (new years!! )
– Gold Coast
-Brisbane

I have already mapped out awesome camp sites, water falls and national parks along the way..BUT knowing us, we could end up anyway during this time!

Me enjoying a Sydney Waterfall. Inserted to serve a point.

January 11-18th: We fly to Bali, Indonesia again. We are so excited to be heading back to this beautiful location. I think a cocktail in our villa will be the perfect treat after 20days of camping.

January 19th- We decided to stop off via Darwin on the way back. Mostly because we are both fascinated by it and have never had the chance to visit. We plan on hiring a car and heading to the Litchfield National Park.

January 20th- and finally…Noosa .aka. our new home until we find a home.

I wonder where else 2017 will take us!

What is your next travel destination? xx

  1. Hey thanks for your like on my blog worldtravellerin.wordpress.com!
Your travel plans sound amazing, the east coast is so beautiful! If you haven’t heard from it, go to Dorrigo National Park with Skywalk and Crystal Shower Waterfall and if you can make it, it is worth to see the platypus in Eugella National Park up near Mackay 😉 I have been there in 2013 as a backpacker, wrote about it on my German blog then (http://lisaustralien.auslandsblog.de/2013/04/)
    Greetings from China,

  3. How exciting Louis and what a festive season you will have! I’m heading for a mini break to Malaysia – KL – next week for a few days of shopping, massages and food while my husband works – always good to get away from the routine of life every so often. Enjoy your trip!
