SYDNEY: Irrawong Waterfall

We woke up on Saturday Morning and posed the question ‘ Where to today?‘. Our original plan was to get a ferry over to the island i grew up on but as the day progressed, we found ourselves on a walk towards Irrawong Reserve and Waterfall. Both with camera in our hand, 10 layers of clothes and the warmth of our morning coffee’s.
Irrawong Waterfall is one of Sydney’s many hidden gems. Located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, the waterfall is tucked away in the back streets of Warriwood and hard to find, unless you know about it.  It was Jays first time seeing the Waterfall and despite my many visits, i was still amazed at its beauty.

Travel Tip: Drive your car to Garden Street off Jackson Road, find a park and locate the start of Irrawong Reserve walk.
Alternatively,  you can catch the L85/185 bus directly to Garden Street.

Here are some of our favourite photo’s from the waterfall.
